DOING RESEARCH ON KOREA OR KOREA'S ECONOMY?Library

KEI compiles a variety of information and data regarding the Korean peninsula's economic status. From monthly-updated charts containing key economic data to our extensive in-house library, KEI strives to bring you current and comprehensive information regarding Korea's economy. Resources include:

KORUS FTA RESOURCE CENTER
Up-to-date information about the FTA and the debate over its prospective impact. Here, you will find fact sheets, analysis, and studies about the Free Trade Agreement in one location with links to other FTA resources.

South Korean Economic Data
Every month, KEI compiles data on the South Korean economy including, but not limited to, direct investment, trade flows, exchange rates, consumer prices, interest rates, unemployment rates, and GDP growth.

North Korean Economic Data
On a quarterly basis, as information becomes available, KEI compiles data on North Korea's Economy including: GDP growth, per-capita GNI, external and inter-Korean trade, industry structure, and population.
This resource is one of few offered in the English language for those wishing to know more about North Korea's economy--please note the "latest" information often refers to the previous year due to the difficult nature of obtaining data on North Korea.

KEI's in-house Library
KEI's extensive collection of books and periodicals relating to the Korean economy and U.S.-Korea relations.
