Regina Park joined the Korea Economic Institute as the Executive Assistant/Office Manager in August 2009. Ms. Park is responsible for managing all operations of the organization, and supporting and facilitating the work of the President.
Prior to joining KEI, she was an intern for the Office of the Chief of Staff at the Center for Strategic and International Studies during her last year as an undergraduate of the University of California, Irvine in 2008. She graduated with dual B.A. degrees in International Studies and Anthropology with a regional emphasis in East Asia and the Middle East. She completed the honors track of the International Studies Program and was inducted into the National Honors Society, Sigma Iota Rho. After graduation, she lived in Syria for Arabic language training at Damascus University’s Higher Language Institute.
Ms. Park’s interests include international travel, U.S. foreign policy in East Asia and the Middle East, and cultural studies. She is fluent in Korean and has intermediate proficiency in Spanish and Arabic. In the future, she hopes to pursue an advanced degree in international public policy.
