The Korea Economic Institute (KEI) conducts a number of events each year dedicated to major policy issues and current events of the Korean peninsula. While the focal point for much of KEI's work is the U.S.-Korea relationship, KEI also hosts events on a broad range of issues impacting Korea's economic, diplomatic, and security relations around the world. These programs will often focus on such as the current status of the Six Party Talks with North Korea, Korea's efforts to promote a green economy, improved human security, and trade issues.
As part of KEI's mission to address issues relevant to the Korean peninula, KEI sponors regular policy forums that focus on the unique dynamics of Korea's relationship with both China and Japan. KEI also sponsors the policy forum, Korea Compass, which explores Korea's relations outside of Northeast Asia.
