NetKAL Programs

The Korea Economic Institute has formed a strategic partnership with the Network for Korean American Leaders(NetKAL) program at the University of Southern California’s Center for Asia Pacific Leadership (www.netkal.org).  NetKAL is a leadership training and mentorship program focused on emerging and current leaders in the English speaking Korean American community.  Every year, NetKAL hosts a six month training program for 24 fellows from across industries and the United States.  In addition, NetKAL hosts a major conference of Korean American leaders every year that bring together prominent second generation individuals to discuss the future and how to better empower the community.

As a supporter, KEI works jointly with NETKAL program to provide financial, infrastructure and organizational support for its training program and summit.  KEI serves as a regular meeting place for the NetKAL DC chapter’s monthly luncheons and spearheads NetKAL’s community outreach activities in the mid-Atlantic area.

KEI’s support for NetKAL is part of the institute’s greater mission to support and promote the growth and empowerment of the Korean American community nationally.
