Korea-China Forum

Korea Economic Institute (KEI) sponsors the Korea-China Forum. For much of the period after the Korean War formal diplomatic relations only existed between and North Korea. However, with the opening of diplomatic ties between China and South Korea in 1992 the relationship has grown significantly and changed the larger dynamic on the Korean peninsula.

The Korea-China Forum seeks to explore the changes brought about by the deepening relationship between China and the two Koreas and to provide greater understanding for U.S. policy makers and Korea watchers of the growing challenges and opportunities of the relationship through the lens of strategic considerations, economic interdependence, and regional security. For more information on the Korea-China Forum, please contact Sarah Yun, KEI's Director for Public Affairs and Regional Issues, at sky@keia.org
