KEI Events: Korea-America Student Conference at KEI
July 16, 2012 - Korea Economic Institute hosted this year's group of students from the Korea-America Student Conference. The group, whom was stopping off in D.C. as part of one leg of their tour around cities in the United States, started their morning off with a lecture from Karin Lee, The National Committee on North Korea, who spoke to them about Inter-Korean relations and the possibility for a future peace agreement between the two countries. The morning continued with a lecture by Troy Stangarone, Korea Economic Institute, and Bryant Trick, United States Trade Representative, on U.S.-Korea Economic Relations. The day long session ended with all of the students participating in the Six-Party Talks Simulation, led by Nicholas Hamisevicz, Korea Economic Institute.
With the completion of this program, the number of individuals who had completed the Six-Party Talks Simulation had increased to 2,984.
